A Play Date and a Party!

On Saturday Henry had a play date with his friends Mason, Mari and Jake. It was also a nice time for us to celebrate Henry's birthday with his friends. We had the play date at Mason's house and I have some nice pictures of the kids playing in Mason's room. We also took them outside to a park across the street from Mason's house. Henry had a blast outside, unfortunately I didn't bring my camera outside because I don't have any free hands with Henry still needing to be carried everywhere, but Mason's mommy took some outside pictures so I'm sure you'll see some coming on his blog soon! Here are some pictures from the day.

Jake is here!! Jake is a little younger than the other guys, he is about four months old. Here is Mari after getting in trouble for grabbing Jake. Henry and Mari were fascinated by the baby.

This was our attempt to get Henry and Jake to stand next to each other. I think Henry only has about two each inches on Jake and he is eight months older.

Chubby Legs, Little Shorts

Anybody who has ever changed one of Henry's diapers, knows first hand how wonderfully chubby his legs are. In fact when you ask Cole "who's chubby?" he runs and points to Henry's knees and screams "Nenny!" So after he made a mess at dinner tonight I was getting him some PJ's and came across these shorts and thought I should put them on him before the summer in case he starts to lose some of the rolls. Here are some short shots with lots of rolls, and I did change him into warm PJ's before bed. (*also please check out Jack, Luke and Cole's blog to see what Henry does while I am at work!)

Henry's First Haircut

Henry was long overdue for a haircut as his mullet was getting out of control. We learned that the mullet was beginning to break and so his hair was not growing evenly. He now has a small area by his neck that now only has peach fuzz and a thick area above that. Hopefully it will all even out. All in all he did a great job and sat fairly still.

Fun with Water

Anyone who has spent any length of time with Henry knows how much he loves to drink out of a "big boy" cup (especially glass ones). Kevin let him have his glass with a little bit of water in it to play with, and Henry had a great time. Luckily there were no floods as there were as Grammy and Papa's when Henry got a hold of Kevin's cup and soaked Auntie.

Warm Weather

On Saturday morning we woke up to some unusually warm weather. We decided to let Henry check out the beautiful weather before even getting dressed. Kevin also decided it would be funny to put his bare feet in the snow, Henry did not really like it, but he tolerated it well. He also enjoyed playing with the recycle bin and got very upset when it was time to go inside.

Once Henry realized how cold the snow was he decided he did not like it.

Hopefully he'll get the whole walking thing down soon, or we are going to have many skinned knees this spring!

I guess he needed some milk!

Another Play Date and Mari's First Birthday

Henry's friend Mari, turned one on February 18th and they are only six weeks apart, which means Henry's birthday is coming quickly. We all got together at Beane's to play and to celebrate Mari's birthday. I took some pictures but for some reason they did not come out great, but check out "Mason and Arian's" link on my blog and you can check out the pictures. And please pay close attention to Henry's mullet shot, as I will be taking him for a hair cut shortly:( I'm not ready for a big boy!
