Memorial Day Parade

On Monday we all watched Jack march in the Memorial Day parade in town with his Tae Kwon Do class. Henry waited patiently for Jack to come by.

Memorial Day Fun!

On Sunday afternoon Kevin went for a bike ride with a bunch of our friends. Unfortunately I was not able to attend due to not having a babysitter, now I know how Kate feels. Henry and I stayed behind and got some food so we could have a barbecue when the bikers returned.
It was such a warm day Jack and Luke decided to cool off in the sprinkler before the barbecue.

Brotherly love!
Henry was tired from watching his cousins run around so he took a little nap with Kate Harris.

Just chillin' at the barbecue.

First Trip to New York

As many of you know all of Kevin's extended family lives in New York. We decided that at almost two months old Henry was ready for his first road trip. So we packed him up (along with about 15 diapers which I now know was a bit excessive, but hey I'm a new mom, I'm still getting the hang of things) and set out to meet his "great" relatives.

Our first stop was at Henry's great Aunt Jill's house in Forest Hill, NY. We met up with his great Grandpa before heading off to get some lunch. As you can see in this picture Henry was ready for his lunch!

Henry with Aunt Jill.

After our visit with Jill and Grandpa we headed to Bellrose to visit with great Aunt Carol and Henry's great Grandma! Henry's so lucky to have so many "greats" in his life. Again, Henry wanted to eat.

Henry enjoyed his time with Aunt Carol, he even took his pacifier out to talk to her!

So all in all the trip went great. Everyone was so excited to meet Henry and he handled the trip well. He slept in the car the entire time and was happy when we reached our destinations so he could stretch.

First Parade

We had a very busy weekend which began on Friday afternoon with Jack's school parade. North Street School puts on an end of the year parade every year where the classes have a theme and make floats and march. It was really cute and as you can see Henry enjoyed this event with his cousins. I think Cole was the most excited! (actually I think he was laughing at Grammy!)

Here's Jack marching proudly!

Henry's Baptism

Here is Henry on the morning of his baptism after his bath. His robe is a little big but it served its purpose well.

A family shot before the baptism. Henry was very well behaved during the mass and the baptism. He was the youngest baby being baptized and we didn't hear a peep out of him during the ceremony.

A picture with his godparents, Bubba and Aunt Kerri.

Getting Started

After witnessing the success of Kate's blog, I decided it would only be appropriate for Henry to have his own. It also serves as a great way for family and friends to stay connected as he is growing and changing so much every day. These are just some pictures of Henry around the house, I would guess he is about four weeks in these pictures.
